About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our Ernakulam office and contribute to building scalable, efficient software solutions. This role is perfect for someone with a foundational understanding of programming and a passion for learning new technologies in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Django, ensuring clean, reusable code.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to manage and retrieve data efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver features aligned with business goals.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control, participating in code reviews and continuous integration workflows.
- Apply knowledge of software development life cycles to contribute to project planning and execution.
- Experiment with machine learning libraries like scikit-learn to support data-driven features.
- Work with Java and C codebases when necessary, expanding your technical versatility.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Django framework.
- Experience writing SQL queries and managing relational databases.
- Basic understanding of Java and C programming languages.
- Comfortable using Git and GitHub for source control.
- Awareness of software development life cycles and best practices.
- Curiosity about machine learning concepts and libraries like scikit-learn.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a team-oriented setting.

- Implement machine learning features using scikit-learn in at least 2 projects within 12 months
- Demonstrate proficiency in Java and C by resolving at least 3 issues or features in these languages
