The Situation (The Context & The Problem)
Recruiting isn't a funnel; it’s a library. Right now, recruitment agencies let hundreds of thousands of candidates rot in their databases, starting from zero on expensive job boards for every new role. Keelzo is a DPIIT-recognized AI startup building the "candidate memory layer" for hiring. We are scaling a two-sided marketplace (ATS + Job Portal) that automatically rediscovers and semantically scores past applicants in 22 seconds. We need a Founding Engineer to build alongside the founder and scale our core architecture to handle massive data lock-in and secure our first 20 paying agency customers.
The Task (Your Core Objective)
Take extreme ownership of the end-to-end technical delivery. You will be the primary technical engine executing the product roadmap, responsible for connecting our React frontend with a highly resilient Node.js and MongoDB backend. You must balance shipping revenue-generating features rapidly while building a scalable foundation capable of handling massive bulk data ingestion (e.g., parsing 10 Lakh+ candidate CSVs) and integrating complex Azure AI logic without timing out.
The Action (What You Will Actually Do)
Full-Stack Execution: Write clean, production-ready code across React and Node.js to power the core ATS Co Pilot, candidate portal, and our auditable Kanban pipeline.
Database & AI Architecture: Architect and optimize MongoDB schemas for high-speed semantic retrieval. Integrate and manage Azure OpenAI to execute our proprietary 6-dimension candidate scoring (Skills, Experience, Seniority, Industry, Education, Stability).
Infrastructure Ownership: Manage version control, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments using GitHub and Azure, ensuring 99.9% uptime and secure data handling for enterprise compliance.
Rapid Iteration: Ship features iteratively based on direct feedback from our Founding Recruiters, moving fast to deploy high-leverage tools like our Chrome Extension and automated Interview Scheduling system.
